Update 1.6.2.2 Released!

More GSX improvements and a new IFE system for your virtual passengers.

The version 1.6.2.2 update has now released which further improves compatibility with GSX Pro for Self-Loading Cargo, adds compatibility with the MSFS/Asobo ATR42/72 aircraft seatbelt sign and doors - as well as introducing a brand new In-Flight Entertainment System for your virtual passengers!

The new In-Flight Entertainment System is unique in that it is completely dynamically generated based on the data from your flight, and each screen on your aircraft is individually simulated for every single seat in the cabin layout. Why is that important? Well, not only does it mean each passenger can be viewing something different from other passengers, each IFE screen has the potential to fail - causing problems and upset for that particular passenger (in the coming v1.7 version). 

The IFE is only visible when the Cabin Layout Window is open - select a passenger, then click the "Turn On IFE" button on the right. You can also show/hide the cabin layout and passenger manifest by selecting "None" from the "Cabin Layout", "Passenger Manifest", "Both" button area to save some screen real-estate.

Check it out and see what you think in any case. Just make sure you select "Aircraft has IFE Screens" when selecting the WIFI capabilities of your aircraft during flight setup. 

IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE BEFORE 22ND DECEMBER 2023, PLEASE RE-DOWNLOAD IT AS THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE NECESSARY RUN-TIME FILES BEING MISSING FROM THE ARCHIVE. IN SOME CASES THIS CAUSED THE IFE TO FAIL ON INITIAL LOADING. RE-APPLY THE UPDATE AND THIS SHOULD BE FIXED. THANK YOU, SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
